Online Newsletter Marketing

Online newsletter marketing is one of the most effective ways to get sales immediately for your online business. An email newsletter gives you the opportunity to connect with your readers and build your credibility. The more your credibility increases, the more your readers will trust you, the more they will believe your words, and the more likely they are to purchase your products.
When doing online newsletter marketing, if your newsletter content is good, it means you put a lot of effort into making sure that your subscribers are benefiting from what you are saying. This means you want them to be successful - and you should - and the more you show them that, the more you'll be able to boost your sales and conversion rates. Nothing is more crucial to email newsletter sales than consistency, quality, and a personal relationship.
Now some people go about marketing their online newsletter the wrong way. What you DON'T want to do is fill your list up with people who didn't "opt-in" to subscribe to your newsletter. This means do not attempt to add people to your list who didn't ask to be on there in the first place. The way that they "ask" is by visiting your website themselves and entering their email address (and sometimes name) into your web form.
You will want to stay away from bulk email marketing services that allow you to buy thousands of names to mail to. Also stay away from mass emailing people (spamming) as this is not an effective technique. You run the risk of getting blacklisted. When this happens, none of your emails will reach your intended prospect's inbox folder. It will always go to spam - or it may not get delivered at all.
Online newsletter marketing is essential to your online business so don't mess it up. Use techniques such as joint venture marketing. Don't rely on tactics such as solo ads to get new leads and market to them. First of all, more than likely these are dead leads and have been spammed and emailed to death 100's of times over. Second, you will be guaranteed to lose money as no one will convert into sales. Third, the email list owner who sent the solo ad mailing out is shady and knows that their list is terrible. And finally, you will get a lot non-deliverables and your emails being sent to spam folders over and over again. And people will report you as spam.
Online newsletter marketing is integral to your success, so always stick with techniques that will allow you to get the most bang for your buck. I want to go over a few ways that you can make this happen, and have your email marketing efforts pay off big for you. You only want to attract high quality leads to your website. This is essential because your conversion rates will go up, your sales will go up, and you won't have to worry about anyone complaining that they don't want to receive the information you're sending them. They can simply unsubscribe. Here's the first tip for having newsletter marketing success:
1) Have an opt-in form on every page of your website
If you have a blog, once you put the HTML code into your blog and publish it onto the internet, typically every page that you create afterwards will have that opt-in code embedded on that page. So essentially you good here. But if you have a website, and you built it yourself using a custom software, you will want to make sure that every page has your email opt-in form on it.
You will want to do this because if you have website or blog content that shows up in the search results and someone clicks on your link, you want to give them the opportunity to sign up for your newsletter before they leave your site. This is especially true if they like your information and decide that they want to read more. So they will probably browse your other content and other posts on your site, and continue to read.
The more they read, the more interested they will become in you, and then they will want to look for a way to get more information from you. This will be your opportunity to easily guide them to your opt-in form so that they can subscribe to get updates and new content that you produce. Once you have them in your opt-in email newsletter sequence, you can send them content and pitch them on the products and services that you may have. Here's another tip for online newsletter marketing success:
2) Offer free stuff in every email
In every newsletter email that you send out, be sure to offer something for free aside from the content that you already give them. People love free stuff - especially free new stuff. If you're already giving them good content via email, let them have something that they can download and read/view while their offline. Their insatiable appetite to learn is unquenchable. Even after purchasing something from you they will want more.
Continue to give them more - and give them something that they will want to read for a "re-fresher" over and over again. Sometimes people will accidentally miss your emails, and when they do, at least they will have something tangible on their computer that they can read or watch to get reminding ideas of how to have success doing something. So along with the great content that you create, offer them some free downloads or something else for free that can further their education. Here's the last tip I want to give you:
3) Try to add new email content everyday
Statistics show that it takes an average of 7 contacts to convert an email lead into a customer. Now that statistic is a little ambiguous because it never states how often you should email a prospects to reach that 7 contact number. Should you mail everyday? Every 3 days? Once a week? Once a month? My answer to these questions are that you should have your autoresponder scheduled to mail every 3 days - but create the new email content everyday.
If you create the new email content everyday, you're filling up your email sequence with messages that can last you for a long time. Imagine if you added an email everyday - but had them sequenced to be delivered every 3 days. That means if you wrote 60 emails, you would have enough email content to last you for approximately 6 months (60 x 3 = 180 days). From there you could put your online newsletter marketing on autopilot.
If you knew you're conversion rates and at what message interval you get the most sales from, you could write your emails and be done with it for life. This is just mathematical sense. If you create your emails well in advance, it should take you no more than 1 week to craft the emails, put them into your autoresponder, and sit back and focus on another area of marketing while your online newsletter runs itself. This is the ideal way of doing it.
Online newsletter marketing is crucial to your internet business success. And if you want to get the most bang for your buck, be sure to implement what I've stated today. Good luck!
